Very organized, super knowledgeable and fun fly fishing guides. Our group enjoyed both Andy and Dustin as guides. I floated with Dustin. His comprehensive and entertaining explanations of the primary steps to FF made the day fun. I especially was impressed with his coaching of me while I carefully managed the trout from the hook set to the net landing. He and Andy definitely know the river and it's best spots. They were positive, helpful and professional. We caught fish and enjoyed the day because of them.
Only two minor items I'd like CRFF to consider: having a shore lunch comprised of fresh fried trout, fried potatoes with onions and fruit. The other surprise was that our fishing trip ended at 2:30pm v. the 3:30pm time we were told when we made the reservation.
I highly recommend Crazy Rainbow and encourage you to fish in October.

Signed up in the downtown Casper location, John was our guide for a half day. He was extremely patient as we had never fly fished before, with limited skills we caught 7 Rainbow Trout and had an amazing time. (experienced folks would have caught 40!)

If you don't hire a guide from crazy rainbow, then you're crazy! I can't even put into words how absolutely amazing this place is. I was with Kody for 2 days (sure he's beyond sick of me) but that dude is patient as sh$$ and I met Ben who is totally awesome and Addie who my father in law and the rest of the guys can't stop talking about - she's also the shi$ .... you definitely cannot go wrong with any of the guides at this place! My husband and my father in law were out with Kody a year back and they still talk about his awesomeness....you're guaranteed a fabulous time whether you get the stink off the boat or not! (We did ;))

he crazy rainbow lodge and flyfishing guide service, offers the best fishing experience that I have had the opportunity to experience for the last 14 years...My two sons and several close friends spent 4 days on the reef..The guides,addie ,mark,and logan had us catching fish all day long...a special thanks to addie ,who braved the cold and strong Wyoming winds to make sure that we had a exceptional experience..Hats off to laurie who made my grand son's birthday a special one....If you are a flyfisherman...the crazy rainbow is a must for your bucket list!!! Fantastic guided trip with clients with overnight stay at the lodge.
The lodge had many sleeping options.
Steak dinner was very good.
Ben Brus is an absolute pro and fit in with our group. Great instructions for me as a first time fly fisherman and he put us on the fish.
All the staff was exceptionally friendly.

What a great four days on the North Platte. Thanks to Forest, Ryan, and Rob our guides that expertly drifted us through "the reef" and "miracle mile ". Unbelievable days from staggering heat to a hail storm. The river and huge rainbows are arguably the best fishing in the lower 48.

WOW! What a great time. This was my second year fishing with the crew at Uglybug/Crazyrainbow . Many thanks to Addie, Laurie and Jake Sabus. Jake and I spent 3 fun packed days on the river 9/27 - 29 2017 with all types of weather challenges from fog to cold and a little rain. Jake worked though all the issues and brought us to more fish then I could have hoped for. He is a hard working professional guide with a great knowledge of the river and what patterns would be working. He is also a fun fellow to spend time on the river with. We would be laughing when counting how many times they would jump. Anyway having nice big powerful rainbows on the end of the line is a real treat and a lot of fun. Thanks Jake I had a great fun time and to many fish to count!!!

Every year my father and I take a fishing trip and this year we chose the grey reef river and the Crazy Rainbow. We loved it! For starters, Laurie, who manages the lodge, was exceptional. It is wonderful to see someone take such pride in their work and do so with such exceptional customer experience. I do t know if she gets to sleep, but I guarantee you will be take. Care of! Ryan, our guide, was one of the most effective and professional guides that I have had in over 20 years of obsessive fishing. The lodge was in beautiful, located right on the river and had all the amenities you would expect. Lastly, I love it when staff share their respect for their management and ownership. I didn't get to spend much time with Blake or the other owners, but it goes to show that great people surround themselves with great people! Thank you for helping make the trip so memorable
